What have I been up to?

I have been working on a few new patterns, which I will be posting soon, I just have a few more revisions to make, I've been working on really improving them. I have also been working on being a mommy, and moving. It's been hard to find the time to put up new patterns.

I have also been working on going back to school, I just feel like it's something I need to do, for myself.

Coffee Mug Cozy!

Another scrap yarn pattern for you! A stinkin' cute mug cozy!

It was about 9pm and for some reason I was drinking coffee, I guess to keep me up with I was working on writing some patterns to share with you folks! I had some scrap yarn, I just knew wouldn't be enough for a candle cozy but there was plenty there to come up with something. I took one sip of my coffee and knew, that little booger needed a cozy! I'm actually very happy I made this, not only did I have cute mug, but it also insulated the mug a little and allowed my coffee to stay warmer longer than it would have!

If you choose to try this out for yourself, please send me pictures! I love to see everyone's work!

Bottomless Candle Cozy!

I was organizing my stash the other day, and I realized I have a TON of scrap yarn, that really needed to be used up. I usually throw it in a little tote basket, and I don't think twice about it. I was thinking "It's really a shame to let all of this go to waste." So I used my creativity, and came up with a few "scrap yarn" patterns!

The first one I came up with is a candle cozy! Who doesn't love cute candles! I know I do!
The pattern is worked in half double crochet!
